MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - Adayana, Inc. announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Trina Systems Ltd. has received the ISO 9001:2000 certification for the "design, development, and deployment of e-Learning products and services." Trina, based in Hyderabad, India, is the e-Learning development and production unit of Adayana, a global developer of business performance improvement solutions and private label products for training companies.
"This is a major milestone for the e-Learning industry," said Dr. Rajiv Tandon, president and chief executive officer of Minneapolis-based Adayana. "Through the ISO 9001:2000 certification, we demonstrate our company's ongoing commitment to excellence. This certification not only underlines the importance of quality solutions for our clients, but proves that we have reliable and robust processes to fulfill customer expectations every time."
The ISO 9000 family of quality management standards and guidelines, established and administered by the International Organization of Standardization (ISO), has become an international reference for quality management requirements in business-to-business dealings across all industries, regardless of the product or service delivered. ISO 9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system in organizations that need to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products or services that fulfill customer and regulatory requirements.
Trina's certification was realized through the successful completion of a registration audit by KPMG, a global network of services firms providing professional audit, tax, and advisory services. To ensure that Adayana maintains compliance to the quality management standard, KPMG will provide semi-annual audits and will require re-registration every three years.
