Adayana Featured in "The Classroom of the Future" Exhibit at 2004 Minnesota State Fair

Training solutions developer selected by Minnesota High Tech Association

St. Paul, MN - Over 800,000 visitors to the 2004 Minnesota State Fair were given a glimpse of the future of education at "The Classroom of the Future" exhibit. Edina-based Adayana Inc., a lead sponsor of the exhibit, was joined by The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA), The Science Museum of Minnesota and 12 other organizations for the event located in the "Wonders of Technology" pavilion.

Adayana was selected by MHTA because of its focus on technology-based training for adults, and the company's commitment to initiatives that use technology to bring learning to more people throughout the world, particularly rural learners in developing countries. "Our global sales and development teams are keenly aware of the barriers to learning that technology can help overcome. We were excited when MHTA asked us to take part," said Adayana CEO Rajiv Tandon. "This is an important opportunity to discuss how we as citizens and companies can reach more learners, in more languages and cultures, in truly innovative ways."

Local Adayana team members staffed the exhibit for the 10-day event. Their presentations included a computer-based video entitled "My Personal Classroom". It featured testimonials from ten different learners about how computer-based courses, or e-Learning, make it possible to learn in a more personal, flexible, and meaningful way. As a part of the "Days of Wonder" program, CEO Tandon discussed the history of learning as an example of the way technologies interact to create new and unexpected outcomes.
