James Eiler

Jim is the Managing Partner of Cybus Capital Markets, a merchant banking firm that provides traditional investment banking and private equity fund management to middle-market companies within the food, agri-business, general manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Jim's financial services career spans over 28 years of senior management positions in commercial banks, the Farm Credit System, John Deere Credit, and Cybus Capital. These positions include: Senior Vice President Agricultural Financial Services, John Deere Credit; President & CEO of Farm Credit Leasing; CFO for AgriBank; and EVP & COO for the St. Louis Farm Credit Bank. Jim's broad commercial banking background includes positions in correspondent banking, community bank president, and EVP and Senior Lending Officer for a $ 500 million bank in Des Moines, Iowa. Jim was raised on a grain and livestock family farm in Eastern Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with BS and MS degrees in Agricultural Economics. He is also a 1984 graduate of the ABA's Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
