Jeff Kidwell, President, VERTEX Solutions
Jeff is a thought leader who has provided strategic advising to large organizations for the past 24 years. He has increased their efficiency and effectiveness through improved strategy and execution in areas such as organizational design, process reengineering, contract management, benchmarking, activity-based costing and performance measurement. He has developed and delivered training courses on performance measurement and project cost and schedule management, and has co-authored several papers on the implementation of advanced distributed learning programs, benchmarking, scope management and schedule risk and has been a college-level instructor in front line supervision and management. Jeff has managed the development of interactive video teletraining, web and computer-based training, simulation systems and resident-based training programs. He has also developed strategic plans and balanced scorecard measurement systems for training organizations. Jeff has supported federal clients including the U.S. Navy, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict (ASD/SOLIC), U.S. Air Force, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Federal Courts, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Energy, and many other executive branch agencies. Prior to coming to VERTEX Solutions, he served as a Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Program Manager, and Director for several defense contractors and consulting firms as well as an internal consultant for American General Corporation.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and an M.B.A from Virginia Tech.
