CARQUEST Extends LMS Partnership With Adayana

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Adayana, a global human capital development and organizational performance improvement provider, today announced that General Parts International, Inc., the parent company of CARQUEST, has signed a partnership agreement to receive enterprisewide learning management services from Adayana through April 2016. This new agreement extends a relationship that begun in 2008 between the two parties.

General Parts International, Inc. currently uses Adayana’s Managed Learning Environment (MLE) solution as the technology infrastructure that powers GPI University. Adayana provides the hosting infrastructure, server hardware, connectivity, security, software components and support services for GPI University, a centralized website that offers e-learning courses and tracks student progress.

The new agreement extends this partnership and includes new services. Adayana will develop and deploy a hybrid learning portal for GPI and provide a specialized Adayana 50-course automotive e-learning library to train GPI teammates.

“Continuing our successful relationship with Adayana makes sound business sense,” said Richard Walker, General Parts International, Inc. vice president of Human Resources shared services and labor relations. “Adayana has been a collaborative partner in building a comprehensive platform providing accessible, effective learning content to assist in the educational development of our teammates.”

“The LMS partnership and learning portal will deliver significant returns for the entire enterprise,” said Adayana Chairman, President and CEO Dr. Rajiv Tandon. “We look forward to helping General Parts International, Inc. define a new process where learners and managers will be better prepared to deliver the company’s brand promise to their customers.”
