Falls Church, VA –Adayana received the Gold Excellence in LMS Award for the prestigious 2009 Learning in Practice Awards, sponsored by Chief Learning Officer magazine at the publication’s Fall Symposium in Colorado Springs. Adayana’s nomination was selected by a panel of judges, composed of industry experts and executives from some of the world's largest and most-respected companies. According to Chief Learning Officer (CLO) magazine, the editors received a record number of over 200 nominations this year for the work of learning executives and solution providers.
Adayana received the award for its successful rollout of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Learning Management System (LMS) named AgLearn. Adayana supports the USDA in several capacities, such as helping the organization aggressively market the benefits of the courses that reside on the LMS, aligning and integrating legacy systems, addressing learners’ needs concerning content, as well as capturing metrics and ensuring that influential stakeholders are aware of the value proposition provided.
As a result of these efforts, AgLearn has seen nearly 3 million online course completions since its inception in 2004. Additionally, discretionary training increased by nearly 600% from Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 to FY08. The AgLearn program resulted in cost savings of nearly $8 million in 2008 and is projecting a cost avoidance of nearly $23 million in FY09.
“We are very excited to receive this prestigious recognition from CLO because it is a strong reflection of the commitment our team members make each day to our clients” stated Mike Jackson, Adayana President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our goal at Adayana is to continually exceed our client expectations and ensure that we deliver positive results for their organization.”
Adayana, along with the other CLO Award winners, will be featured in a supplementary special report in the December issue of Chief Learning Officer magazine.
